INTERESTED IN GETTING INVOLVED?
Thompson Education Foundation is looking for volunteers in the following areas:
Event Committee: With new initiatives and bigger ideas, we need people that can help us with current events and in establishing new events. If you have event experience (or even if you don't but want to help) we would like to have you on our team! This committee is still in the first stages, so get in on the ground floor and get some real experience!
Communications: Do you like to write? Are you experienced in social media, blogs, or media communications? We need people to help get the word out about foundation programs, projects and initiatives! If you have experience in any of these areas or would like to get more experience, please give us a call!
Office Assistant: Thompson Education Foundation runs on a minimal staff and could always use help with filing, mailings, and keeping our database up-to-date. Minimal hours are required and specific duties may vary depending upon time of year.
Internship credit available! We will happily provide a learning experience for any intern looking for experience in event development and management, communications, journalism, or non-profit management. You can help the foundation, be a part of developing major events and projects for great resume experience and get high school or college credit!
